Unfortunately the seller for my main and preferred looms seems to no longer be selling their loom's on Ebay (ClaresLair: Rustic Tote-a-Long Loom). As such I am in the process of looking for another seller who makes similar sized looms with a similar capacity at an affordable price. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear of them. The following are a few places I've found online who sell/make quality looms of different styles:
Palmer Looms has a couple varieties of Loom materials
sells both left and right handed looms in addition to a variety of other supplies.
Ashford makes a good variety of fiber tools including an array of different styles of looms
Their looms and tools can also be often be bought through various partner and fiber related websites.
WindhavenFiberTools has a number of different sized single and doubled sided multipurpose looms as well as other weaving tools
Most looms will come with a shuttle to use, if its misplaced or you're looking for another style/stylizing of your shuttle, there are options.
Check with the manufacturer for a replacement
Etsy can be a great place to find custom made/stylized shuttles.
Check with local woodworkers near you
In a pinch you can use wooden ruler which has been sanded down to remove any sharp edges and splinters so as not to damage your threads.
Lacis Tablet Weaving Cards (Set of 25ct 2.5" x .019" cards)
These have been my current go to for 4-hole cards
Zurcher Stalder Tablet weaving Cards (60mm x 60mm)
I've yet to try to these, but they've come highly recommended to me.
Shipping may be a bit tricky or best cost wise done with a group of folks
You can also make your own cards out of playing cards.
These are some of the places I've purchased fiber from or which I've had recommended to me:
Lunatic Fringe Yarns - They have a variety of fiber types, sizes, and tools available
The majority of the 20/2 cotton thread I have is from their Tubular Spectrum series
Knit Picks - has a variety of fiber types, tools and resources
Their Cotton Curio #10 series is the first set of fibers I've used extensively
As a warning, their curio line changes every couple of years removing some color options until most of the pallet is replaced
a good starting place for quality #10 cotton crochet thread, but perhaps not as a long term supply source
Pacific Wool and Fiber - Has a wide array of tools, materials, and supplies for Spinning, Weaving, Felting, and Knitting
