Inkle weaving initially caught my attention and got me interested in weaving. You can probably tell a couple things from these initial bands: I like complex patterns, my tonal color choices was and still is something I'm working on, and I thoroughly enjoyed weaving. That desire for complex patterns led me to using different tablet/card techniques. I may still do the odd Inkle band for requests or teaching purposes in the future, but likely not many more.
Under each photo below is a link to more information on the project on Facebook, Instagram, and/or the West Kingdom History page.

First attempt to weave and show the weft (center blue dot). This was donated to a fundraiser auction for the new West Kingdom Crowns in 2018.

Second attempt at weaving with a weft showing. Problems with keeping the tension even and the weft showing, mean I'm not going to repeat this experiment.

Three looms setup for the SCA Demo during the 2018 Woodland Celtic Games, before and afterwards. The majority of the weaving was completed by children during demo. All three were donated to the WK Largess as gifts for children in the SCA.
