The Baron and Baroness of Rivenoak invite you to a day of fighting and enjoyment at the Rivenoak Baronial Championship at Manuel Vierra Park. 

There will be fierce competition in heavy combat, rapier, and other Arts & Sciences. All are welcome to complete.

Heavy Combat Tournament - details pending

Rapier Tournament - Come one, come all, to the Rivenoak Rapier Championship tournament! Format will be either round robin or double elimination depending on how many fighters we have! So, you are prepared, there will be a few differences this year. For one thing, everyone will fight matched weapon forms with each person they fight, including length of rapier blades, if possible. However, you may change weapons forms each round, as long as

you and your opponent match forms and blade lengths. Also, we are going to try and do double kills a bit differently. If there is a double kill in a fight, then it will be immediately re-fought. However, a coin will be flipped. Whoever wins the coin toss, will win the bout, If there is another double touch. However, neither fighter will know who wins the coin toss until the fight is over! So come on out for a great day of friendship, fighting, and fun!!!

From Chico area: take 99 south, in Gridley turn right on Sycamore St, turn Left on Washington Street, and turn left into the Vierra Park parking lot 

From Sacramento area: take 99 north, in Gridley turn left on Cherry Street, turn right on Haskell Street, turn left on Norman Street, turn left on Washington, and then turn left into the Vierra Park parking lot
