Primus Equs Caidus "Angel of the Tiny Hooves"is 35" tall. Heinrich (green tunic, heading) is 6'3". I (red dress) am 5'8",
Richard Steckle performed a metanalyses of 30 studies examining femurs belonging to males from Northern Europe. The samples covered from 9th to 18th centuries. He found that during the early medieval period, men averaged 68.27" inches. Heights decreased starting around the 14th century to hit a low of 65.67" around the 17th century. (Steckle, 2004)
Both ponies are approximately as tall at the withers as their headers' inseam.
To give a rough visual comparison, one retailer suggests that the average inseam for a man who is 5'8" is 28", while someone who is 5'6" has a 27" inseam. (Under510.com, accessed 1/4/2021)
Our 75" header of the 35" pony has a 33" inseam. Assuming the drawing is proportional and that the man is average, those measurements suggest that the 15th century pony is around 29-31" inches in height.
