Ratoncito del Campo

El Tema: Enseñar a tus compañeros de clase

You will be creating and delivery an entire lesson based on the section of story you have chosen. The following information will help to guide you on your project.

Paso 1: El orden

Using the PROJECT LOG that has been created for you in Google Classroom, organize your time by explaining what your goals are, when your deadlines are, and what you are setting out to accomplish.

Paso 2: Leer

Start reading together. Here are some guidelines that may better help you organize:

  1. Understand the main points of the story

  2. Translate any vocabulary words you are uncertain of

  3. Identify key grammar tenses

  4. Answer the questions that are associated with the story

Paso 3: EL PLAN

Once your PROJECT LOG has been organized, move into creating your plan. You should be able to work on the following things to create a good lesson.

  • What vocabulary from the story will you be teaching?

  • What grammar points will you need to teach?

  • What are the main events from the story?

  • How will you deliver your information to the class in an engaging and informative way?

  • What do you want your students to learn when you are done?

Paso 4: el examen

Now that you have your lesson plan set, you just need to figure out how you will test your students and look for their comprehension of the information. This is entirely up to you, will be graded by you, and will affect your overall grade based on how they do.

Think about the best ways to show learning, and create a way to test their knowledge.

  • What works for you?

  • What works for those you know?

  • What isn't a good measure of knowledge?

What do I need to know for my own feedback and grade?

Your grade will depend on a variety of things:

  1. your own use of Spanish during the lesson

  2. your prep work on your project log

  3. your materials that you have prepared for the class

  4. your organization and lesson plan

  5. the results of your exam for the class
