Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! Our names are Mrs. Echeverry and Ms. Dawer and we are the School Counselors at Tamaques School. We have enjoyed seeing our new and returning students this year in the hallways and in their classrooms! Week of Respect 2022 October 3-7
Morning Arrival
We are always looking for ways to improve arrival/dismissal. After observing the first 2.5 weeks of school, we are going to change the morning line-up locations for the 1st graders, 3rd graders and Mrs. Sica's 2nd grade class. All others will stay the same.

School fire and security drills
New Jersey schools are required to conduct one fire drill and one school security drill per month during the school year. Today, Tamaques conducted a lock down drill during the lunch/recess hour. We are always looking for ways to prepare our staff and students for all types of emergency situations and conducting them at "odd" times such as the lunch hour helps to enhance Tamaques' emergency preparedness .
