SAFETY PATROL

One of the special things about being a 5th grader at Tamaques is the opportunity to serve as a safety patrol officer. Starting on Monday, October 24, you will see safety officers patrolling the front and back of the school during arrival and dismissal. Our safety patrol will be wearing bright green belts to identify themselves. Their job is to help keep their schoolmates safe by making sure they are staying on the sidewalks, wearing bike helmets and being kind to one another. In addition, they will be observing  our traffic regulations and reporting any "rule breakers" to Mr. Duelks as well as reminding parents of the "no dog zones."

Permission slips (orange) for students to go home for lunch were sent today in backpacks!

Halloween Parade will  be after Lunch at 1:15pm, Parties will start at 1:50 on Monday, October 31, 2022

   Security Drill - Evacuation

Today, in accordance with state law, the students and staff in our school successfully participated in a school security drill. Everyone responded appropriately during our on campus evacuation drill. We will continue to review as well as practice essential safety/security routines and procedures throughout the course of the school year.
