Hi Students! This module is all about building and improving on the following skills:

HIS1. Change, Continuity, and Context:I can demonstrate knowledge of major eras, enduring themes, turning points and historic influences to analyze the forces of continuity and change in the community, the state,the United States and the world.

• I can evaluate how historical events and developments were shaped by unique circumstances of time and place as well as broader historical contexts. (1.1)

HIS2. Perspectives: I can analyze and evaluate the motives, actions, values, and attitudes of individuals and groups to understand the significance of events and developments from a range of perspectives.

• I can analyze complex and interacting factors that influenced the perspectives of people during different historical eras. (2.1)

HIS4. Causation and Argumentation: I can explain and analyze the causes and effects of events and developments in the modern world.

• I can distinguish between long-term causes and triggering events in developing a historical argument. (4.2)
