TED Talks are presentations given by experts in their field. Your first performance task is to research, outline, and create a TED Talk over something you become an expert on. Over the course of the first two modules, you have learned how to present and communicate to an audience. Now is your chance to show what you have learned. Make sure to look at the rubric to see what skills you will demonstrate.

- After you have selected your topic, begin identifying research that will help your speech.
- Any source you plan to use during your speech should be placed into your annotated bibliography.
- You need to:
- Cite each source http://www.citationmachine.net/
- Share how you know the info is credible
- Summarize the information
- Tell how you will use the information in your speech

- Now that you have an outline and are prepared to give your speech, test it out first.
- Pick someone to present to. It can be someone at school, home, friends, family, another teacher... etc.
- Word of advice: Pick someone who will be honest, not just tell you how great it is.
