The goal of Modules 3 and 4 is to allow you to research, write and present your persuasive speech. Below are great videos that guide you in creating a research question (your topic), researching and selecting credible sources, organizing those sources, and synthesizing, thinking critically about those sources. Remember, this module is to guide you to the final product of a persuasive speech, so make sure you use your topic throughout modules 3 and 4.

Unsure of where to start when researching your topic?
Watch the video and learn ways to conduct research in a way that is time effective. There are great dos and don'ts of research!
Citing your research is very important. When we use sources and authorities and do not give credit, it takes away from you as well. It is a professional courtesy to give credit and it is the right thing to do.
When we give credit, it elevates our research. It lets people know you have done your research and are ready to share your findings along with your own ideas.
