Communication is the process of of sending and receiving messages and it occurs whenever we express ourselves in a way that is clearly understood. We do this everyday. Intrapersonal communication is communication with ones self. This is the inner dialogue you have and assessing your own thoughts, feelings and reactions.
Interpersonal communication is a process that keeps going. We always have ongoing conversations. Watch the video to learn about more characteristics of interpersonal communication.
Non-Verbal communication is 90% of communication, so only 10% is coming from what you say! That is an important thing to know because having body language that in opposition of what you are saying creates a problem. Watch the clip. It shows some of the types of non-verbal communication that can show what we really mean.
