Assignment #001 Writing Your Memoir

The story you tell should demonstrate character traits/ soft skills that you have. These character traits which you reveal through your narrative should be traits that are required for your chosen career. This section should be between 500-1000 words in length and may use first person pronouns (I, me, you).

This section should include:

• A descriptive narrative that shows 1-2 character traits/ soft skills you came to possess
• A paragraph describing how the 1-2 character traits/ soft skills are desirable for success in the job market
  • Link your character traits/ soft skills to the careers you researched, explaining how those traits/ soft skills will be valuable in the workplace (refer to 8 keys of employability)
  • "Through my experience, it is evident that I possess... which is critical in being successful..."
