Step 1: Find a trusted peer to exchange your truth narrative with for feedback using the graphic organizer.
Step 2: Watch the video on the right that provides an example of what to do or not to do in a collaborative discussion.
Step 3: Schedule a time for you and your peer to meet with your teacher to provide feedback to each other.
Step 4. Be sure to read the competency for collaborative discussion 3.2 so you know and understand what I will be watching for in your peer review discussion.

Performance Task #M4PT6: Discussion Reflections (ELA 3.3)

Step 1: Complete the reflection sheet.
Step 2: Go back through the reflection and make sure your answers are written in complete sentences and are insightful. Answers like "I don't know" or "My opinion didn't change" are NOT answers that work.
Step 3: Turn it in to SLATE.

1: Make suggested revisions given by peer feedback. (Highlight the changes you have made.)
2: Make suggested revisions given by teacher. (Highlight the changes you have made.)
3. Look at the ELA 2.6 Competency scale on the right to understand what I am looking for and grading on for this Performance task.
4: Turn in the updated draft through slate.

Performance task #M4PT8: Final Draft Personal Truth narrative (ELA 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, & 2.5)
Performance Task #M4PT8: Final Draft Personal Truth.
Step 1: Make all of the revisions suggested by your peers and teacher.
Step 2: Open and read each of the 5 google slides and be sure your paper meets at least the minimum score of 7 for each competency.
Step 3: If it does, turn the final draft in through Slate. If not, make changes and then turn in through Slate.

Ensure your credit slip is complete and turn in to your teacher.

Before moving onto the next Milestone complete the following steps:
Open the Competency Dashboard in Slate.
Get your ELA credit slip.
Using the scores in the Competency Dashboard fill in your credit slip.
Conference with your teacher about your score and how that translates into a percentage.
If you are happy with your grade move onto the next Milestone. If you are unhappy revise a Performance task and resubmit. Once you are satisfied with your grade move onto the next Milestone.
