Using the template below, record your current academic progress, then identify what courses will be necessary senior year. To ensure that you have accurate information, please schedule an appointment with your guidance counselor to outline junior year academic progress, and course scheduling for senior year. (All meetings will be scheduled via Google Calendar with date(s), time(s), and location(s) of the meetings, and must have a detailed written summary of the discussion points and action plan).
Armed with this information, your Performance Task is create a personalized guide for making graduation a reality. Your plan must include current academic progress and course schedule, course schedule for senior year, and whether summer school will be necessary to graduate in a timely fashion. In addition, you must identify character traits previously explored (both positive and negative) that can help or hinder implementation of your plan. Remember, you are not the first person to travel this road, so talk to your mentor or other trusted individuals if you need advice on how to proceed.
This guide could take many forms. From an informative essay, to an infographic, to a Public Service Announcement (PSA)-type video, the choice is up to you; however, please submit a preliminary design to your instructor for approval before commencing. You will also need to archive a copy in your digital portfolio. A checklist has been provided below to help with organizing your information.
