Post-Secondary Life Plan Presentation
At the beginning of Career and College Success A, you were asked to identify your post-secondary path from the following options: Four year college/university, Two-year College, Professional Technical School, Military, or Workforce. Your mission now is to prepare a completed Post-Secondary Life Plan that you will present to a panel of faculty/staff and peers to be determined by your instructor.
Your Life Plan Presentation must include the following elements:
- Specific chosen plan.
- Class schedule for remaining high school classes, including if summer school will be necessary.
- Required entrance exams, including specific dates (e.g. dates taken, or specific .upcoming dates scheduled).
- Two academic and two personal S.M.A.R.T. goals necessary to implement plan.
- Identify two positive character traits, then specify how you will use them to implement your Life Plan.
- Identify two negative character traits that could prevent implementation of your Life Plan and how you intend to deal with them.
As with Performance Task 2, this Project could take many forms, such as an informative essary, an infographic, to a Public Service Announcement (PSA), meaning the choice is up to you; however, please submit a preliminary design to your instructor for approval before commencing. Also, remember that you are presenting the final product to a panel, so you will want to be clear, concise, and professional.
You will also need to archive a copy in your digital portfolio and, as always, please submit all required materials to your Career and College Success A Google Classroom.
