In addition to the support we offer your child here at school, there are numerous community agencies and resources in our area (& out of the area) that you can access for your child and yourself. Our role as a school counselor is geared towards very brief solution-focused counseling, building problem-solving skills, teaching de-escalating & coping skills, and helping students make positive connections here at school. For those with ongoing needs outside of this scope, we make referrals to outside agencies. Then wew do our best to work with those agencies to make sure we are all on the same page while working with each child.
