Useful Information and Home Learning

In this section, you will find useful information around what your child will be doing each term. Here we will outline your child's spellings, homework, PE days and book that we are sharing in class. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. 

Important days for your child

PE - Monday and Friday

Please bring reading books and diaries to school daily.

There will be a termly visit to Midsomer Norton Library.

Spellings Term 1

Spellings for term 1 can be found below. Some children will have indivudalised spelling programmes which will be shared with them personally.

Reading at Home

In Hawk Class we have an expectation that every child will read at home at least three times a week. This can be signed off by the child themselves or a parent/carer. Reading to an adult is always beneficial and we encourage this to take place regualarly, therefore, everytime a child reads to their parent (and it is signed by the parent/carer) the child receives a housepoint.

This is our  term 1 class novel which we read daily for pleasure.
