Daily Routines

The School Day

School starts at 8.45 am and finishes at 3.15 pm. Gates will be open at 8.30am and the first bell will ring at 8.40am. Children can enter the school building and place their bags and coats on their pegs. At 8.45am the classroom will be open and learning begins. This learning will be an opportunity to practise what they have already learnt and to prepare for the day ahead.

Entering and Exiting School

Year 5 children should enter and exit the school through the KS2 side door and gate.

Daily Snack

Children are welcome to bring a healthy snack for break time. These include fruit, vegetables, hard cheese, yoghurt.  As we are a nut free school please do not send in snacks with nuts. 

Lunchtime 12- 1

Year 5 will eat their lunch on second sitting at 12.30pm, although in the warmer months children with a packed lunch will eat outside at the start of the lunch break.  We have a varied range of outdoor play resources and opportunities available during lunctimes.
