Day 5
At the crack of dawn, we headed through the villa's doors one last time and battled carrying our suitcases through the rain to the coach. On arriving at the airport, we made our way quickly through passport control and into the departure lounge to eat our breakfast croissants and spend the last of our Czech money. In no time at all we were on the flight back to Birmingham excited at the prospect of seeing our families again. A slight hold up at Birmingham passport control was quickly resolved when we were fast tracked through resulting in us heading out onto the coach and en route to Gloucester Services for some much needed refreshments, namely sausage rolls, fancy cakes and biscuits and, in Elsie's case, olives!
Slightly later than planned we pulled in at Norton Hill and it was lovely to see the joy on everyone's faces as they reunited with their family and loved ones. Our children were absolutely amazing this week- an absolute credit to both their families and our school. We have loved taking them on this adventure and hope they have enjoyed it as much as we did! Hopefully you have all had some much needed rest this weekend.
See you Monday!
