On the 15th of December, the computer science club hosted a workshop that involved teaching kids about code. My group, chose the website code monkey. This website teaches kids how to code using simple block code and animations. This taught me how to become a better public speaker, it improved my ability to work with others, and it showed my commitment to the club and helping kids learn, and I got to undertake new challenges such as time management for a presentation and presenting to a big audience.

On the 16th of January, the computer science club hosted a Techable conference that showcased technology. My group chose the topic of nanotechnology. I thought that this experience was cool because I got to learn about nanotechnology while researching for this presentation and I got to present the information. This presentation made me work better with friends, it showed my commitment to the computer science club and teaching people, and I taught people what nanotechnology is (new technology).
