We ask the drama students to see one LIVE performance per semester (that is two a year if they take drama for the full year). If this is a problem, please feel free to email Mrs. Fine or Ms. Speed to discuss other possibilities. There are a number of opportunities within the school system, as well as free in-school performances.
Below is a list of the requirements of theatre critiques, as well as a list of places where students could consider seeing a production.
Please be advised that some professional or community theater plays and musicals may not be appropriate for younger audiences. If you or your child is concerned about this, please come see us and we can discuss the nature of the show.
There are two types of theatre critiques: One is for if you have seen a show and one is for if you have worked on a show, either in the cast or crew. You will need to fill out ONE critique before the end of the semester. Be sure to fill out the correct critique! Links for the critiques are below.
