APPLICATION
What are the dates for Web Summit Qatar 2025?
The event will be between 23 and 26 of February, 2025.
But there will be some volunteer shifts in the days before. Check the shifts in Bloomerang Volunteer after you’re selected (you will receive an email reminding you).
And where is the venue?
The event will be held at Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (DECC), in Doha - Qatar.
What is the minimum age to apply to the Web Summit volunteer program?
In order to volunteer, you must be 18 years old or older. All volunteers must bring ID with them in order to collect their accreditation. Any person under the age of 18 will not be granted access to the program or the event.
I need a VISA to enter Qatar. Can I get your help?
Unfortunately, Web Summit cannot assist you with a VISA to come to Qatar nor send you an invitation letter. That decision is entirely up to the Qatari government.
What is the application process?
First you’ll need to fill in a form on the Bloomerang Volunteer platform to confirm your application here.
Some weeks before the event, you will receive an email asking if you continue to be interested in the volunteer program.
After that, the selection process begins and when you’re selected by the volunteer management team to a specific role, you’ll receive another email to choose your shifts.
When you confirm your availability to those shifts you’re confirmed as a Web Summit volunteer and you’ll receive the final information about your roles and logistics for the event.
