Data and Privacy

Current practices:

• Offer resources that are trustworthy and safe for students to learn to navigate (BrainPop, BrainPop Jr., PebbleGo, Tumblebooks, World Book Online)

• Teach information literacy & digitial citizenship lessons that focus on: copyright and fair use, the effect of media on our emotions, understanding the purpose of different types of media, keeping accounts safe, dealing with cyberbullying, digital footprint, most images are altered, how to choose trustworthy sources, our responsibilities as digital citizens
