I have starting experimenting with the layout of board one on Indesign. I have been using photographs from my 4 photographic shoots, mostly using imagery from shoot 3 and 4 and they best suit how i am picturing the starting progress of my board. They have mostly been in black and white images and i have tried adding in some colour ones to see if they make a difference.
For the class based formative assessment i handed in this folio board layout
Self Evaluation
There are definitely some images that i didn't include on this board layout that i think i should've and there are a few i would now want to take off. There is quite a big jump into the blocks of colour so maybe i need to find a way to introduce it onto my board better. I want to try different progressions into my board, at the moment it jumps straight into close up of the architecture i should try further away, maybe even starting in colour then progressing the board into black and white.
Ideas i got from class critique
Black and white could be a little more strong (looks more grey)
intro at start of board is needed eg; starts with a distance shot
photograph/create shapes that aren't perfect
worm eye view, play around more with camera angles
interior vs exterior
frost on nature to lead to frozen blocks
