Writing your IPDP is not as complicated as you think it is. We will go step by step in this process. Here are a 2 examples of IPDP goals:
I will increase my knowledge of Technology use in the classroom by attending Professional Development courses and/or College courses. I will submit proof of attendance to the LPDC by June 2021.
I will enhance my knowledge of content area information in order to improve student learning by attending courses and participating in study groups and professional development. I will submit proof of attendance to the LPDC by 2021.
Remember, you are only required to have 1 goal. Here we go....

July 2021 - June 2026
Click on each calendar for access the dates. You can not start your IPDP before you submit it. If you just completed a Licensure Cycle, your IPDP should start July 1st of that year and end June 30th five years later.
If you are late to the game with writing your IPDP, adjust accordingly. Or contact Christina Schwaiger.
Type in all of the license you have with the duration of 5 years. Your expiration date will be June 30th five years later.

Choose the standard that you want to work on and that will align with your goal(s).
You will start with Goal #1. You will click on the drop down box to choose your standard. You will then type in your IPDP goal. Make sure your goal includes what subject area or topics you want to work on, how you plan on completing your training and how you will let the LPDC team know you completed these things.
If you have more goals, complete the same process with Goal #2.
Lastly, click submit. Watch for the LPDC minutes to know your exact approval date. You will need to remember this date every time you submit a certificate or transcript.
Once you submit your IPDP, please pay close attention to the LPDC minutes ro see your exact approval date for you IPDP.
