Now is is time for submitting Semester Hours. It looks a lot like submitting CEUs, but a different form. This helps with My Learning Plan's calculating. Don't forget that 1 Semester hour is the same as 3 CEUs.
This step is actually the trickiest... knowing which FILL-IN FORM to choose.
Remember when I said that you need to remember the official date your IPDP was approved, here is why... For all of your forms, you will have to type it in each form.
Now it is time to enter where you went for your semester class and who is the provider.
Here is another tricky one. Type in the number of hours you attended the class(es). Then Type in the number of Semester Hours you received. Finally, you will need to click the box next to College Courses Semester Hours. My Learning Plan will calculate everything else. Please make sure your semester hours match the transcript.
You need 6 semester hours or 18 CEUs to renew your license. You can also combine semester hours and CEUS.
Now it is time to enter the dates you attended the class. If it was all in the same day, just put the same dates for both. You can just click on each calendar for the dates.
You ONLY have to fill out this section if it is an EEA. For example, a book study that was pre-approved. If it is not an EEA, jusr type "N/A."
Click on the box next to Transcript.
Now it is time to tell how your class relates to your IPDP goals. You can always start with:
"This relates to my IPDP goals because..."
If you are not sure what to write, try explaining how this workshop/class/activity is going to improve you as a teacher, your instruction or how the training will benefit your students.
Remember all of the certificates and transcripts you uploaded and I suggested you code them??? (I hope you did.) They will ALL appear. You just click on the transcript that pertains to this College Class submission.
Time for the final step... Click SUBMIT!
