Kindergarten music is where we discover our voices! We learn to use our singing voices, our speaking voices and even our shouting and whispering voices! Music is a language and can help with language acquisition, as well as literacy skills to help support students as they are learning to read!

We learn to move our bodies to a beat and to rhythms. We focus on the joy to be found in music! We play games and learn about the basics including steady beat, simple rhythms, simple melodies, and how to safely use our bodies and the classroom instruments to create sounds and music.
