988 is the national Suicide Prevention Lifeline. This number will connect you with support and local resources confidentially and free of charge. Here is what to expect when you call or text.

WCPSS uses the See Something Say Something anonymous reporting system for reporting various concerns. This system is monitored 24/7/365 and can be used regardless of if school is in session or not. Reporting can be done via their crisis line at 1-844-5-SayNow or online here.

If you have concerns about a student's immediate safety (risk of harm to self or others), please call 911.

If you suspect a child has been abused, neglected, or become dependent, please call the Wake County Report Line at 919-212-7990 (English) or 919-212-7963 (Spanish).

After hours or on weekends and holidays, please call 911 and tell the 911 operator that you would like to make a CPS report. The 911 operator will contact an after-hours social worker who will return your call.
