North Carolina Prestigious Scholarships
As a school, we are able to nominate a few students each year to several prestigious scholarship programs including the Morehead-Cain (UNC), Levine Scholars (UNCC) and Cheatham-White Scholars (NCCU). We are no longer accepting nominee applications for this fall.
The scholarships below are often 4-year, full-tuition scholarships with added benefits such as study abroad, research funding, etc. Some schools ask that we nominate students each year who would be quality candidates for the scholarship requirements. An application can be filled out the summer before Senior Year to apply for the allotted nominations from Wakefield HS.
