The Pre-Baccalaureate Program (for-credit): Join Barnard students and faculty in this commuter-only program and earn college credits.
The Black SEL Hub Summer Institute delves into the lived experiences of Black students regarding social-emotional development. Our goal is to equip students to manage conflict constructively, regulate emotions, make responsible decisions, and positively contribute to both classroom and community settings.
The Bob Barker Engineering Camp for Future Innovators
Launching for the first time this July, the Bob Barker Engineering Camp will welcome 24 high‑achieving high school students for a hands‑on introduction to engineering, professional skills and college preparation. The camp is completely free for all participants.
About the Camp
Participants will experience Campbell’s project‑based engineering curriculum through design projects, communication and teamwork skill-building, professional development sessions, and industry engagement. Student teams will complete a community-focused design challenge and present their work at a final‑day Design Expo open to families, alumni and industry mentors.
Top teams (1st–3rd place) will earn one‑time scholarships applicable to their freshman year at Campbell University if they enroll and declare engineering.
GSI welcomes students from China and worldwide to Duke Kunshan University, getting immersed in a fully globalized community that not only enables students to sample a diversity of human thought and multicultural activities, but also prepares student to recognize the current challenges in the wellness of human beings, the critical issues in the environmental and ecosystem, the evolving cutting-edge technologies in shaping our lives, and the essential needs in future preparations.

Founded in 1973, the Governor’s Page Program gives North Carolina high school students the opportunity for hands-on participation in state government. Hosted by VolunteerNC in Raleigh, pages will grow in four areas: history, civics, service, and professional development.
During the page week activities may include the following:

LEAP offers community building, leadership training, and hands-on learning that focuses on animal rescue and care, introductory veterinary medicine, ethics, the impacts of the current food system on the environment and human rights, climate solutions, and the future of animal welfare. As part of the LEAP program, participants will have opportunities to learn from professionals in fields such as animal law, food science, veterinary medicine, sanctuary management, and more.
Through daily interactive lessons and hands-on workshops at the sanctuary, students can get training in sanctuary responsibilities, animal care, cooking, gardening, and more. They will also learn basic entrepreneurial skills and will practice public speaking and leadership by learning to effectively educate their communities. With former teachers among the LEAP founding members and Refuge staff, we understand the importance of giving young people the chance to build community with like-minded peers as well as providing opportunities for interactions with role models in their areas of interest.

The Catalyst Program is a free, year-long STEM initiative for rising 9th–12th grade students with disabilities. Recognized with international, national, and local awards, Catalyst offers hands-on experiences, mentorship, and real-world preparation for students interested in science, technology, engineering, and math. We are a Pre-ETS Program supported by EIPD, NC State University and other community partners. This form needs to be completed in order to attend either the in person or virtual Open House.

Summer Ventures in Science and Mathematics is a no-cost, state-funded program for academically talented North Carolina students who aspire to careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. You will have the opportunity to engage in research with faculty and get hands-on experience at a university.
Northeastern’s Accelerate Pre-College Programs are designed for talented high school students in the U.S. and around the world who want to give themselves a competitive edge. Our programs are taught by our internationally acclaimed faculty, allowing students to experience collegiate learning in a world-class environment. Students gain extensive, hands-on education in subjects including engineering, cybersecurity, design, writing, health sciences, and more, allowing them to preview life as a Northeastern student.
Our applications will open in early December. The program applications include a financial aid section for consideration for need-based aid awards. Most programs offer a $500 discount on tuition for admitted students who apply by the priority deadline of January 15 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

This two-week online enrichment program is tailored for academically driven and intellectually curious students in grades 8-11. Each course provides an in-depth exploration of a single subject, offering students the chance to deepen their academic interests while connecting with peers who share their enthusiasm. Participants join our global learning community and tackle advanced content that goes beyond the typical high school curriculum.

The five-week in-person program will give participants interested in science and medicine real hands-on experience in research methodology and writing. Participants are placed in teams and matched with Duke faculty mentors to work on an original, hypothesis-driven project, originating as a one-page summary and culminating in a complete research paper. A goal of the program is to have every participant qualify for co-authorship on a peer-reviewed manuscript related to their team’s project.

What is T-STEP?
T-STEP is a FREE, evidence-based, one-semester college class to help autistic students transition to adulthood. Funding is provided through Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities (a division of NC DHHS). Participation in T-STEP class includes skill instruction, group practice, video modeling, and role-plays. Additionally, students receive individualized counseling focused on self-advocacy, higher education, and employment, along with work-based learning opportunities.
Key Transition Skills Covered:
Goal-Setting Skills – Choosing and working toward personal goals
Executive Function Skills – Time management, flexibility, and task organization
Emotion Regulation Skills – Coping with stress and accepting feedback
Professional Social Skills – Asking for help and navigating professional interactions

The UCD High School Summer Program is an enrichment program designed for North American students especially interested in learning more about Irish history, culture and student life. Through taught lectures and field trips, students will become acquainted with Ireland's rich cultural heritage and the vibrant capital city of Dublin. The program is geared toward students interested in potentially earning their undergraduate degree abroad, and will also highlight UCD's academic colleges, preparing students to explore the exciting and rewarding experience of studying in Ireland on a more long-term basis.

Explore@UNC is Carolina’s one-week, on-campus pre-college program that lets high school students test-drive college life and academic paths. The program is built to encourage movement both toward and away from an initial interest so students can make more confident choices about college majors and careers. Students choose from majors like biology, anthropology, music, political science, sports administration, archaeology, public policy, classics, and more— diving into each as a focused two-day track led by Carolina faculty and near-peer mentors. The result is a genuine taste of college life and learning at a top public research university.
Tour labs and studios, meet faculty, engage in real classes, and hear from alumni and practitioners who map career pathways and college journeys. Whether students spend the week analyzing ancient art or reenacting the Cuban Missile Crisis, zooming out with aerial imaging or zooming in under a microscope, every student leaves with clearer interests and a firsthand look at what it means to study the major.

Explore life on a college campus and discover potential career paths during one-week summer institutes at Wake Forest University. Wake Forest University invites your high school students to apply for an immersive, week-long pre-college experience. Students choose from 20+ institutes in June and July spanning STEM to business to the creative arts. Your students will have the opportunity to learn from Wake Forest faculty, and imagine themselves as college students living on our beautiful campus.

The United States Military Academy at West Point is excited to offer rising seniors (current juniors) the Summer Leaders Experience (SLE)—a rigorous five-day, overnight immersion led entirely by current West Point cadets.SLE offers an authentic look at cadet life and challenges students academically, militarily, physically, and socially. Participants will experience:
Hands-on academic workshops: Choose from 17 sessions taught by West Point faculty.
Physical and military training: Army PT workouts, obstacle courses (indoor and outdoor), the Candidate Fitness Assessment (CFA), and more.
Leadership and character development: Team-building exercises, the Leader Reaction Course, ethics discussions, and cadet-led activities.

Applications for SLE open on February 15, and selections will be made on a rolling basis starting March 15. When high school students submit this application, it also completes the first part of the West Point application process. Ideal candidates will demonstrate academic excellence, leadership within their community, and a readiness to take on physical challenges.
West Point provides scholarships to cover the $495 SLE fee and travel expenses for students with documented financial need.
