The Baucom MTAC will focus on Curriculum and Instruction for the 2019/20 School Year. We will create ways to support our classroom teachers and the EL Curriculum with technology, research, and the library.
A strong school library program connects students to the world around them through research and inquiry, and by supporting a climate and culture of reading. These connections are made through collaborative lessons and programming that integrate information and technology skills with classroom curriculum, through the curation of relevant and reliable print and digital resources, and by empowering students in the 4C’s.

Members of the MTAC Committee will attend professional development in order to explore new technology that we can pass on to the staff and students throughout the year. Students will use new technology to EXPRESS their learning after walking through the eWISE research process.

The EL, Science, and Social Studies curriculum will be supported through the media center and technology lab throughout the year.
