Women's Chorale is South Garner High School’s intermediate women’s ensemble. This group will sing a variety of repertoire that is engaging, challenging, and fun. In this elective, students will expand upon their knowledge of both music theory and music history. Important emphasis will be given to rhythmic and melodic sight reading, articulation, dynamics, tempo, and musical expressive elements. This class is a performing elective. The students will participate in six major performances throughout the year – Hispanic Heritage Performance, A Fall Concert, Winter Concert, Pre-MPA Concert, MPA (music performance adjudication) Field Trip, and Spring Concert.
