Beginning Mixed Ensemble is a beginning level choir. This group will sing a variety of repertoire that is engaging, challenging, and fun. In this class, students will also learn the fundamentals of music theory. Students will learn how to recognize, understand, and demonstrate rhythmic and melodic sight reading, articulation, dynamics, tempo, and musical expressive elements. This class is a performing elective. The students will participate in five major performances throughout the year – A Fall Concert, Winter Concert, Pre-MPA Concert, MPA (music performance adjudication) Field Trip, and Spring Concert.
