My name is Meaghan Martin and I am so excited to be your child's second grade teacher. This is my first year teaching and I'm thrilled to be starting my teaching career here at White Oak Elementary.

I attended Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) for my undergraduate degree in Marketing Management and Human Resources. During my time in college I found my love for elementary students and decided to pursue a full career shift! In December of 2021, I graduated with a Master of Arts in Teaching at NC State for Elementary Education.

I am looking forward to incorporating mental health into the classroom and promoting a growth mindset for all students!

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, Ben, and our cat, Indy. I'm a self-proclaimed spin class enthusiast and Diet Coke lover.
