Hi there!! I am Kelli DelSorbo and I am so so so excited to be a Second Grade Teacher at White Oak Elementary! I love second grade and am so excited to have a wonderful year.

I am originally from Virginia and went to Virginia Tech and then got my Teaching License from Old Dominion University. I have worked at home while my 2 daughters have grown up and now that they are in the 7th and 4th grade I am so excited to be in the classroom!

I love sports--playing and watching them! Go Hokies!! Football is the favorite at our house although we watch them all! We are faithful Virginia Tech and Buffalo Bills fans! I enjoy traveling, my family and exercise!

I strongly believe that each student has their own strengths and encouraging them to use those strengths while developing other character traits is a big part of our classroom. I encourage the effort rather than just the final result! Positive reinforcement and encouragement are some of the foundations of my classroom.
