Hi Everyone. My name is Abby Anderson and I am a first year teacher. I graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University this past May. Along with teaching second grade this year, I will also be completing my Masters Degree from Appalachian in Reading Education. I am originally from South Carolina, but have lived in Holly Springs since 2007. In my free time I enjoy playing softball,reading, going to sporting events, playing with my cat Zuko, watching movies and shopping.

I am beyond excited to launch my career at White Oak Elementary and build relationships with each of my students! I truly believe as a class we are imperfectly perfect and I strive to not only provide my students with the necessary content, but the life skills needed in order to be successful beyond my classroom.
