RHS Care Closet 

The Rolesville High School Care Closet is able to help 9th-12th grade students with clothing needs.  RHS will be able to house, on site, items from the closet to provide immediate assistance to students experiencing financial barriers.  Students will be referred by their teachers, principals, counselors and parents.  Student self-referrals are also welcome. 

 

The Care Closet will provide school appropriate clothing, shoes, coats, undergarments, socks, hygiene products and school supplies.  To make a referral, please complete the Care Closet Referral Form below or contact Mrs. Owino directly at cowino@wcpss.net.   

 

 

Crisis Services- Mental Health/Suicide Prevention Hotlines 

For a medical or life-threatening emergency, call 911 and request a "CIT Officer." These first responders have gone through Crisis Intervention Training to work with individuals with a mental health, substance use, intellectual or developmental disability.

Mobile Crisis (Alliance Health Crisis Line): Call 877-223-4617
Provides 24/7 assessment and triage for crisis response. A mental health professional will triage over the phone and if needed will go into the community to evaluate for safety and provide crisis stabilization Services. 

KidsPeace Mobile Outreach Response Engagement and Stabilization (MORES):Call 484-215-6756
Hours: 7 days a week, 10:00 am - 10:30 pm. Crisis calls after hours will be directed to the Mobile Crisis line noted above.
Provides mobile crisis support for youth. In addition, for Alliance Medicaid individuals, they can provide ongoing support for case management and referral needs up to 8 weeks.

To access mental health or substance abuse services, call the 24-hour access line at 800-510-9132.
If you have private insurance, we recommend that you contact your insurance provider for provider referrals. A sortable list of local participating mental health providers can also be found on Psychology Today.

Wake County Social Service Resources 

Wake County Public Schools has put together a list of Community Resources to connect with housing and shelter resources, along with financial assistance and basic needs.

Wake Network of Care is an online database that is a one-stop shop for resources, assistance, health information, and advocacy tools. Locate Wake County programs and services, crisis services, and a health library.

To search for affordable housing options, go to NCHousingSearch.org.

For housing assistance, families should contact the Access Hub.  For financial assistance with rent and/or utility assistance, search on the Wake Network of Care for housing assistance programs. The Telamon Corporation also provides mortgage and foreclosure assistance. Families can also call 211 or go to 211nc.org, click on “Basic Needs” and select “Housing and Shelter.” This will connect to a list of the closest providers, their hours and their contact information. ​
