Sculptureand Ceramics


Welcome to Sculpture and Ceramics at Rolesville High School

Intermediate courses, Proficient Honors courses, and Advanced Honors courses in Sculpture and Ceramics at Rolesville High School are open to students who have earned a high school course credit in Beginning Art and a recommendation from their high school art teacher or by portfolio review by the art department faculty. Student artists across all levels of experience explore personal solutions to design problems using a variety of materials in all four processes, including assembling, carving, modeling, and casting. 


Materials:                                          

Student artists enrolled in Sculpture and Ceramics classes are encouraged to incorporate a variety of readily available personal art materials as a part of their regular practice, although no particular materials are required for success.


Sculpture and Ceramics              Open Studio Hours:       

Studio 1408 is open to student artists currently enrolled in Sculpture and Ceramics by appointment, during B Lunches and after school, subject to art department faculty availability.
