Sixth Grade ELA students created eBook slides to wrap up their Hero's Journey unit. Students completed a graphic organizer planner and learned how to make their writing stronger by adding sensory language, selecting exciting verbs, and understanding the rules of dialogue and the importance of verb tense consistency. ELA 8 students use Snap! programming to code aspects of Ha's Journey during their Inside Out and Back Again novel study. Students then provide peer feedback and self-reflections related to the coding project.
