Music represents our Culture

I like to spend most of the year helping 5th graders learn about how music has shaped our American Culture. From the Revolutionary War songs, to Spirituals to Blues and Rock

Our big "thing"for 5th grade is learning to play the ukulele! Thanks to Donors Choose, we have ukuleles here at school for student use. If your child has access to a ukulele at home, they are free to bring it to school when we have music classes.
