For the week of September 8, students read and discuss key details from the nonfiction book Give it a Push, Give it a Pull by Jennifer Boothroyd, incorporating force and motion from our science unit. Students practice their expository writing focusing on a Force and Motion book.

Durante la semana del 8 de septiembre, los estudiantes leen y comentan detalles clave del libro de no ficción Give it a Push, Give it a Pull, de Jennifer Boothroyd, integrando los conceptos de fuerza y movimiento de nuestra unidad de ciencias. Asimismo, practican la escritura expositiva centrándose en un libro sobre fuerza y movimiento.

For the week of September 8, students will continue to work on solving addition and subtraction word problems with unknown parts to 20 using various strategies. This week we will switch from beach to fall themed problems.
