In 2002, I graduated from University of North Carolina at Greensboro with my undergraduate degree, then went on to obtain my master's degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My first teaching position was in Greensboro, NC, which proudly was at the same school where I completed my student teaching. After teaching 1st grade there for four years, I happily moved my teaching journey to Partnership Elementary. I have been enjoying my 1st grade position here since 2006, and after two years, I became a National Board Certified Teacher. Without a doubt, I know that I was destined to teach! Twenty years of teaching 1st grade and I couldn't imagine myself with any other age range...I simply adore watching their minds grow! My husband and I welcomed our beautiful daughter, Journee, in early 2021. I am looking forward to seeing their BRIGHT ideas as we progress through the year!!
I am so excited for a brand new year! I have been part of the Partnership Magnet Elementary staff and/or a member of the parent community for the past eight years. This school has a culture of caring, which I have witnessed first-hand with my own children and my teaching here in first, second, and third grades. I received my undergraduate degree from Florida State University, my law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and my Master of Teaching degree from North Carolina State University. It is a privilege to get to share my days with such bright, inquisitive, and remarkable young students. I am looking forward to another fantastic year in first grade as we all grow together.
Hi! My name is Kyndall Carr, and I’m so excited to be part of the Partnership Elementary community. I graduated from Winston-Salem State University in 2023, and I am very excited to be returning to my roots as a Partnership alumni. Being back as an educator feels like a full-circle moment, and I’m honored to walk the halls that once helped shape who I am today. I’m committed to creating a positive, supportive classroom where every child can grow and thrive. I look forward to partnering with you and watching your child learn and succeed this year! Go Pioneers!
