Welcome Cardinals! I'm Mrs. Kreitman, your 8-3 Social Studies and Math 8 teacher. I'm excited for a new year and being a part of the 8-3 Cardinals team. This is my 17th year teaching middle school. I am married, have 3 children, and a dog. I sing in a band, am a licensed Zumba instructor, and am a die-hard TAR HEEL! I look forward to a great year :)

8th Grade Social Studies: US and NC History
This year we will learn about the history of the United States and North Carolina- how they developed into what we are today. We will start with geography and how it impacted the development of our economy, government, and society. We will use a variety of sources- from primary sources to videos; from Broadway musicals to cheesy parodies; from paintings to posts. We will learn how to question and investigate to find our answers.
