WCPSS Math 1 Site

The above link to the Math 1 site is your best resource for supplemental material, review videos, and at home resources for both math 1 students and families. Accessing this site is pertinent to finding success in Math 1 this year. I have included the links to each unit in the Course of Study section as well. I am confident we will be successful, but it will require going above and beyond just completing work in class. 

WCPSS Math 8 Site

I understand Math 7+ may not fully go into important concepts needed for Math 1. I have added the Math 8 webpage for students to use as reference material and practice. I highly recommend students use this resource to enhance their math experience.

Desmos

We will use Desmos often in our class. It is important to be familiar with this as you will see it again on the EOC and Math 3. https://www.desmos.com/testing/northcarolina/graphing 

Canvas

Canvas can be found via your WakeID Portal. Canvas will be the home to weekly materials, Majors/Minors, lesson overview videos, and other great tools to assist you in Math 1. 

Having this many resources can be a bit overwhelming at first, but you will find a rhythm quickly to best be successful in Math 1. When in doubt we can talk in class or I can be reached at jververs@wcpss.net
