NRMS Comprehensive School Counseling Program Overview

According to the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), "School counselors design and deliver comprehensive school counseling programs that promote student achievement. These programs are comprehensive in scope, preventive in design and developmental in nature." The counseling program at Neuse River Middle School is a collaborative effort between the school counselors, school psychologist, school social worker, school nurse, data manager, student services receptionist, teachers, administrators, parents and the community to promote student achievement and success.

Neuse River Middle School Student Services provides a comprehensive counseling program which addresses academic, career and personal/social needs of students using responsive and equitable practices.
