19/20 Evidence and Reflection

Objective 1

During the 2021-2022 school year, the North Ridge MTAC will create a set of visual routines and rules for technology. As the district has moved to the new Student Device policy, classrooms now have much larger numbers of devices. These visual routines and rules will provide classroom teachers with the tools to handle them. As well, this is in keeping with North Ridge being a Conscious Discipline school. We will share these new visuals with staff and students at a school-level.

The MTAC committee created visual routines for technology. We photographed students using appropriate behavior with technology and used these to illustrate these posters. The posters are in the school in common areas and also in the classrooms of teachers who requested them.

Objective 2

During the 2021- 2022 school year, North Ridge will share the Digital Product Resource Library. Laura Lumb will visit each PLT to share what this tool is and how to use it.

I was able to introduce the Digital Product Resource Library to the staff members and answer questions about using it.
