Using the NC Building Code, Prior Knowledge, and google, we were able to discuss our way through designing and constructing a house in Raleigh, NC. We tried to pull out important design constraints and criteria and then highlight any missing information or gaps in our research. We will answer these questions throughout our student of Residential Design.

LEED Home Size Reduction Calculation - How many LEED points will your AHD earn by reducing the overall conditioned square footage?
What is the Total Drain Count for the amount and type of drains that are in your AHD? This number will influence the size of Wastewater Lateral that is installed at your AHD and the amount of slope that it must have to achieve proper drainage.
What is the pressure being supplied to your house from the municipal water supply system?
When you change the house lot, you change the amount of rain water that is absorbed or shed from your land. What is the change in the amount of rain water that is shed from your property after you build your house and add your other impervious areas?
