Mr. Matteau is a very old man and an advisor to the school magazine. He can usually be found fighting crime over the streets of Raleigh. In his spare time, he talks about words to teenagers whether they like it or not. 

Noah Banta is a Senior at Middle Creek High School. He was born in Buffalo, New York but moved to Raleigh, NC. In his free time he enjoys watching movies, listening to music, reading, and writing about himself in the third person for the creative arts magazine. Noah participated in NC State’s prestigious young writer’s workshop.

Sebastian LaRoche is a senior at Middle Creek High School. He enjoys filmmaking, songwriting, drumming, and having fun (obviously). When he isn't writing something, you may find him playing tennis. 

Sebastian Candioti is a senior at Middle Creek High School. He was born in Ojai, California, and moved to North Carolina in the 4th grade. He enjoys watching all kinds of movies and shows, reading fantasy, and playing video games. He loves to write stories, make short films, and play the piano. He also loves Indian food a little too much. 

Noah Tutwiler is a senior at Middle Creek High School. He was born in North California and grew up partially in Canada; from 3rd grade on, he grew up in North Carolina. He loves reading manga, manhua, and manhwa's, and enjoys flooding his works of writing with creativity, fantasy and emotions.

Madelyn Scholle is a Senior at Middle Creek High School. She was born and raised in North Carolina with her younger brother, Mason. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, playing guitar and piano, and listening to music. Last year she was a finalist for the United Arts High School Spoken word contest.

Willa Talbot is a 16-year-old sophomore at Middle Creek High School. She was born in Rochester, New York, and moved to North Carolina when she was eight. She lives with her older brother, younger sister, and pet frog. Outside of school, she does Eco Club and Tech Theatre. 

Ashley Allen is a junior at Middle Creek High School. She was born in Chicago, Illinois. She has a twin and brother that are here at Middle Creek. She is a co-VP of the Women's Empowerment club, in 2 Academies (Chick-fil-a leadership + Professional Educators), and in 2 honor societies (National Honor and National Art Honor). 

Claire Allen is a junior at Middle Creek High School. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved here when she was 12. She is part of the Women's Empowerment Club, Cinema Club, SGA, and 2 Academies (Chick-fil-A Leadership + Professional Educators). She enjoys cars specifically the 1965 Ford Solaire Starliner.

Savannah is a Junior at Middle Creek High School. She is very silly! She is also in the Women's Empowerment Club and the NAHS, and that's about it! Her most prized possessions are her Boston Terrier, Pepper "Pepe", her French Bulldog, Gnocchi, and a McChicken with extra mayo and pickles 

Vanessa is a Junior who loves poetry, photography and being extra chuckle-headed! Vanessa Loves hangout with the bruzz (bro huzz). Some of Vanessa's favorite writers are Sylvia Plath, Langston Hughes, Homer, and Nettspend! ***Vanessa took this photo on her hellcat.***She's 6'4***
