This will be Ms. Morrison's fourth year of teaching and her third year at Lynn Road. This year she is the 3rd grade team chair. She is a graduate from Appalachian State University receiving her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics and Minor in Communications. Ms. Morrison found her passion for teaching on a Spring Break Service Trip she took with other Appalachian students to Ecuador. While there, she helped rebuild a school and led an English Camp for grades K-12. Ms. Morrison was born in Long Island, NY and moved to Raleigh when she was 8 years old and going into the 3rd grade. Ms. Morrison taught 5th grade her first year in Charlotte, NC. She returned to Raleigh to be closer to her family and continue to follow her passion for teaching. When not at school, Ms. Morrison loves to catch up on TV shows, go on adventures outside, and play with her dog Parker. She loves to explore new places and eat great food. Ms. Morrison recently picked up a new hobby of building and refinishing furniture in her spare time!
