Vocal Ensemble

This is the advanced choral ensemble for Ligon.

This group performs in community events locally and beyond.

Members of this group may participate in the annual Wake County "All-County" Honors Chorus, NC All-State Chorus, and NC Honors Chorus collaborates with other fine arts performers, and performs for the NC Music Performance Adjudication (MPA)

In this yearlong course, students sing three-part and/or four-part music in this performing choral music group as well as sight-singing, ear training, and music theory.

Students have the opportunity to sing solos and participate in small ensembles.

Some after-school rehearsals and evening performances will be required.

Students will study international music and histories of musical styles.
